A short drive from the famous City of Bath, is The Garden Room. This lovely holiday cottage is situated on the outskirts of Timsbury, about a 15-minute drive from Bath’s city centre. The Garden Room has been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board.

Appropriately for a self-catering holiday cottage named The Garden Room, the accommodations are surrounded by a beautiful garden, filled with leafy trees and a variety of colourful flowers.

The Garden Room has a twin bedroom with en-suite facilities. It has been designed to be spacious, appealing to the eye and have every amenity close at hand. Aside from the inviting, airy bedroom, there is a lounge with very comfortable reclining sofas. In the lounge you’ll find a flat-screen television with Freeview channels and a DVD player. You can also listen to music on the CD player.

The fitted kitchen is stylish and modern. Cook meals on the gas cooker, and store your perishable goods in the fridge-freezer. There’s also a microwave as well as all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you’ll need. If you’re staying for a while, then you might want to ask for the washing machine and tumble dryer to be made available.

Those with mobility problems will be pleased that The Garden Room is a one-level cottage. Off-road parking is adjacent to the cottage’s front door.

Included in the tariff are both gas and electricity. Towels and linen are provided. If you want to bring a well-behaved pet, advance notification must be given. It’s important to note that The Garden Room is a non-smoking cottage.

It is an ideal base from which to explore not only Bath but Wells with its wonderful cathedral, Cheddar, Glastonbury and many lovely National Trust properties. Whether visiting to relax in the tranquil countryside of south-west England or to enjoy the sights and distractions of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, The Garden Room is a charming and convenient base. And walkers will be pleased to find the cottage close to marvellous open countryside.
